DID YOU KNOW THAT AFTERCARE IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS YOUR LIP BLUSHING SESSION?
During your procedure, we take the highest precautions to ensure that every product & tool used are completely clean & disinfected. When you leave your session, you will have open cuts on your lips, which is why proper aftercare is so important! If proper aftercare is followed, not only do you reduce the risk of infection, but you will have the best possible healed results!
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
-
Gently cleanse your lips with non scented soap morning and night.
-
Apply aftercare as needed until lips are fully healed- ALWAYS keep lips hydrated while healing.
-
Remember, your lips will be strongly colored and sharply defined for 3 – 7 days after your appointment. As they heal, the color will soften into a subtle shade. The approximate healing period is 7 days, but healing can be prolonged if your immune system is compromised.
-
Stress, poor diet, and failure to follow the aftercare guidance can all contribute to poor healing or infection.
-
Keep in mind that unevenness of color is to be expected. This is the purpose of the second touch up, allowing us to fine-tune your enhancement.
-
Everyone retains pigment differently, and it’s difficult to determine how long your treatment will last. Some skin types retain pigment well and the color stays looking fresh for a year. Others have skin that naturally rejuvenates at a quicker rate, therefore the pigment fades faster.
-
For long term care, use a good lip sunscreen – sun exposure will fade your micropigmentation enhancement.

HEALING PROCESS
IMMEDIATLEY AFTER
-
Lips will be sensitive & swollen.
-
The color will be more intense then the healed results will be.
-
Area around the lips may be red and sensitive but will go down in a few hours.
DAYS 3-7
-
Color will soften and fade into a more natural shade.
-
There may be some peeling & flaking depending on your skin type.
-
Your skin may not hold all of the pigment evenly which is why a second touchup is needed 6-8 weeks later to perfect your results.
