Annual Lip Blushing Refresher pricing is reserved for existing clients within 12-18 months of their last session. After 18 months, the skin typically requires a full two appointment session, and standard pricing applies.

HOW TO PREP FOR YOUR LIP BLUSHING SESSION

If you have a history of cold sores, it is advised to take an anti viral medication prescribed by your doctor which will reduce the chance of an outbreak by 50%.

Gently exfoliate your lips a few days prior to your session.

Make sure your lips are clear of anything that could compromise the lip blushing service (cold sores, extremely chapped lips, bruises, etc.)

Hydrate your lips as much as possible leading up to your appointment.

Drink lots of water to keep your lips hydrated.

Do not take aspirin or any other anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen three days prior to your appointment

Do not consume alcohol 24 hours before your appointment.

Lip fillers & or lip flips must be done at least 6 weeks prior to your lip blushing session.

Do not use Retin A skincare products around the lip area 6 weeks prior your appointment.

Avoid laser treatments, chemical peels, and all other procedures around the lip area 6 weeks prior to your session.

If needed, waxing the lip area should be done one week prior to your appointment.
HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS
Did you know that the cold sore virus is actually extremely common? In the USA, roughly 48% of adults have contracted the virus at some point in their life... that's almost half of the adult population! So lets just say... it's nothing to be ashamed of and you can absolutely still get the lip blushing service even if you have the virus. Once contracted, the virus lays dormant in your nervous system for your entire life and will become active if the immune system is compromised. That is why we highly recommend taking an anti-viral medication before and after your lip blushing session prescribed by your doctor, as it will lessen your chance of an outbreak by 50%.

PLEASE NOTE- Even if you have never had a cold sore outbreak, there is still no guarantee that you won't get one after receiving the lip blushing service as the virus may be dormant in your system and you are unaware.

If you have had a recent outbreak, you should wait to receive the service until the skin has fully healed which is typically a minimum of 6 weeks.
